Abstract

As society becomes increasingly environmentally conscious, the issue of recycling and the circular economy in the context of packaging is becoming more significant. Packaging constitutes a significant element of our daily lives, and its impact on the natural environment is increasingly recognized. This has become the primary motivation for a deeper understanding of this topic. Consumer attitudes and behaviors towards sustainable packaging practices have been subjected to analysis. The primary objective is to highlight the essence of the topic and justify why it deserves attention. Recycling and the circular economy in packaging can bring significant benefits for environmental protection, waste reduction, and natural resource conservation. By better understanding consumer attitudes and behaviors towards these practices, we can better tailor strategies and actions to promote sustainable packaging solutions. Also noteworthy are the factors influencing consumer choices, their level of knowledge about recycling, and their willingness to accept circular economy models. Understanding these factors can help develop more effective communication and environmental education strategies. In the context of broad social responsibility, recycling and the circular economy in packaging have become key elements in taking actions towards sustainable development. The role of these practices in environmental protection and ways to increase consumer environmental awareness in the context of packaging have been highlighted. Analysis of consumer attitudes and behaviors can provide practical guidance for companies and institutions on how they can promote sustainable packaging practices. Long-term engagement with this issue can lead to positive changes for both the natural environment and society as a whole.
