Abstract
The quality of seedlings is one of the factors affecting the cultivation and yield of vegetables. Red cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.) belongs to the Cruciferae and is a species grown in an extended climate. As a vegetable, cabbage is valued as a source of nutrients. It is a good source of nutrients, vitamins K, C, A, E, and therefore phenolic compounds including anthocyanins, quartzin glucosinolates and fiber. Simultaneously with our joint action of ZnONPs on B. subtilis bacteria and cabbage seeds, it is necessary to develop conditions in which both the plant and the microorganism are tested on the basis of ZnONPs toxic results. Therefore, it was proved that the experimental character of the response of B. subtilis to ZnONPs and the effect of ZnONPs doses on the germination of red cabbage was checked. The MIC (Minimal Inhibitory Concentration in mg/ml, measured as OD) was determined by the microdilution method. MBC concentrations were determined by the agar plate method. The effect of different concentrations of ZnONPs on the planktonic growth of bacteria in the culture of the substance was investigated by spectrophotometric measurement of OD, biofilm formation in the crystal violet test, superoxide anion production in the NBT test, catalase activity and the ability to produce IAA.
